Just plug the socket into any normal electricity socket. If you wish to connect more than one appliance then connect any standard 2, 3, or socket power extension block to the standby control socket. Place the footswitch in a convenient position so that you can access it easily. There is a 3 metre cable to make this easy. To turn off the power to all the connected equipment simply press the footswitch. The power will be turned off completely. Press the footswitch again to restore power.
